Next issue out Nov. 8

This photo of the Taillefer made a great cover for the November issue of A Bit of the Bay Magazine.

The next issue of A Bit of the Bay Magazine will hit the streets of North Bay Friday afternoon, Nov. 8.

Several outlets will be carrying the third editon for single copy sales at $4.99 (HST included). Pinehill Coffe Shop, Allison's Book Store, North Bay Regional Health Centre tuck shop and K-Bros Maroosis Art Centre are the first to offer it for retail sale. See the bottom of this notice for a list of participating advertisers with free copies for paying customers.

Subscription mailings will be go to Canada Post as soon as possible, although Remembrance Day may add a day to the delivery.

North Bay's military history is the big focus of this issue, although we concentrated on some of the many people who represent the city's military culture. We barely scratched the surface but hope to give readers something to think about when pausing in silence wherever they are on Remembrance Day.

And that's just the half of it with multiple aspects of North Bay featured as the publication launches it's first 12-month subscription drive with a Christmas gift offer to mail single copies at $99 HST included.
