The Nipissing Lakers men's hockey team hosts the Royal Military College Paladins, at Memorial Gardens, Saturday, Jan. 4 for the 11th annual Military Appreciation Game. The event has raised more than $30,000 for the North Bay Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC). New this year, the Lakers women's hockey team will be hosting Waterloo Jan. 18 to extend the tradition. At both games, the Lakers' will be wearing specially-designed jerseys that will be auctioned off.
